Today’s popular music artists are known for their ability to reach a variety of people. What’s more, these artists take it a step further and cross over into other forms of the arts to really capture the hearts and minds of their fans. For Aaliyah, this was nothing more than following her heart:

For Aaliyah, life was about doing what made her happy, a goal we should all strive to achieve. She made those around her comfortable, easier to work with, thus, was able to make a great many hits, but what is more, she was able to make lasting friendships beyond the music industry.
