Samsung to Recall Galaxy Note 7 Devices

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users are being urged to return their devices as they have been recalled for potential battery explosions. Sales of the device have been halted until a safer version is produced and the 2.5 million already sold or on shelves will be taken back and replaced voluntarily by Samsung.

This is an undoubtedly bad situation for Samsung. What’s worse? Apple is setting up to unveil it’s newest flagship handheld, the iPhone 7, on Wednesday. And while predictions were leaning towards an iPhone sales slump, there is now a glimmer of hope.

Samsung said it will take about two weeks to produce the replacement devices. Also, as of 09/01/2016 there were 35 reported cases of batteries exploding across the globe. Stay safe and consider going back to a flip phone!
